THE WILDLY LIFE originally started as a way to remember our adventures and share them with family and friends. But over the years, we realized more than just our close people were interested in our adventures! We started getting asked for travel recommendations, our travel itineraries, and wanting to know all the details about our travels. We realized we truly have a passion for helping others getting to experience all the amazing places and adventures out there in the world!

What started as documenting to remember our own adventures has turned into documenting to help others experience these adventures, too. So, if you’re new here, hi - we’re Sydney and Caleb! Your new friends who are obsessed with adventure travel and helping you live a wildly adventurous life!

2020

So funny story...
we met the first week of COVID and unintentionally feel wildly in love with each other. Our first date was a 16 hour adventure day together. We were having so much fun neither one of us wanted it to end so we kept saying "oh, let's go do this!"And the rest is history.

WE MET + FEEL IN LOVE IN QUARANTINE

2020

Lock down restrictions had finally lifted and all I wanted to do was see the fall foliage at Acadia National Park. Caleb being the incredible person he is said "let's do it" - still one of my all time favorite trips!

WE WENT ON OUR FIRST TRIP TOGETHER

2021

Caleb surprised the heck out of me and proposed at sunset in Shenandoah National Park
I kept saying "is this real?!" mid proposal haha. And yes, he got me my DREAM ring *heart eyes*

WE SAID YES TO BEING ADVENTURE PALS FOR LIFE - WE GOT ENGAGED

2021

We have a crazy wedding story and both tested positive for COVID days before our wedding [and were super sick]. We canceled everything and eloped. It was such a bittersweet day but no matter what, marrying each other was the most important thing to us, not the wedding. You can watch our full wedding story here!

Although THE WILDLY LIFE started as our adventure travel blog back in 2020, this is the year we became more intentional with capturing our adventures + truly gave it a go!
